Title: Ceramic pot calls
Post by: drum817 on January 19, 2026, 05:00:34 PM
Hey yall been a hot minute since I have been on here.  What company or maker is currently making a REALLY GOOD ceramic pot call?  Thanks in advance for any replies!

Buster Hallford makes the best one I have ever played.

Lonzo makes a very good one. Just picked a new one up a Unicoi. Pecker wrecker also makes a pretty good and affordable one $80. Lonzos was $150 I believe.

Lonzo makes a phenomenal ceramic I have 5 from him and all are amazing sounding calls. I have 3 from Gary Anderson that are really good sounding. Gobblers seem to like them extremely well!

Any of the 1's listed
Buster would be my 1st choice
But Lonzo is right there

David Halloran makes a good ceramic.  Dymondwood or IPE striker runs it very nicely.

This all depends on the type of ceramic that is used.. Back several years ago you could find a ceramic that some builders used that was a darker ceramic and I feel the darker ceramic makes for a better pot call. IMO

I have one of the older ceramic pots with the darker ceramic and it goes with me on all hunts..I have some other ceramic pots that are good pots, but of those they don't compare to the older one I carry..

I have one of Busters and it's a good pot call alone with some of the others mention

I'll also add David Halloran. His older one  called sassy ceramic in a cherry/ Purple Heart laminate pot is an absolute killer if you can ever find one.

Vote for Buster and Halloran. Had the old Halloran and unfortunately broke it. Replaced it with a new one and its just as good.
