Title: Peacock call locator
Post by: MITurkey on January 19, 2026, 08:11:18 AM
I don't see much talk about the peacock locator call from primos. Maybe because the owl call works so well.  Even though I haven't shot a turkey yet. I've had a number of birds respond to that call.  Might be worth trying out

Based on your post it appears you are new to the sport of turkey hunting. Welcome aboard and good luck this spring harvesting your first turkey. I haven't heard of to many hunters using a peacock call. Don't discount a good crow call. There are many good call makers on this forum that make a quality crow call. I've had better responses from crow calls than owl calls.

Truth be told, about any sudden high pitched noise is subject to yank a gobble out of one. Had a Illinois Tom gobble at the keyless entry noise on Anthony Ellis's Bronco last Spring.
