I'm going to order one of busters old hen but also going back and forth between one of his glass over slates in an Osage pot and his persimmon red slate. Which would you guys rather have?

Buster doesn't produce anything that doesn't talk turkey. You'll be happy with any of them. I'd say get all three, and also a purple/green slate, and a crystal over carbon fiber.
Seriously, though, glass is gonna give you more diversity compared to the old hen than the red slate persimmon. Those Osage glass calls from him are incredible. I have a red slate persimmon from him, though, and I promise you want one.

I have both and the glass over slate in the Osage may be my favorite pot call. I always go back to it and the birds respond well to it.

I emailed Buster a month and a half ago to get on his list. He said it would be a couple months. I am going to go with an old hen, the glass over slate in the osage and then I think I am going to have get a ceramic also. I have heard too many good things about all of them to just pick 2!

The only one I have any experience with is the Od Hen. I think you will be pleased.

I have 7 from Buster and will be buying more. His ceramic has become possibly my favorite over the last year. I've killed a couple with his hormigo/glass and the red slate and crystal/carbon fiber are fantastic as well. Never used the Osage/glass
