Title: Last day of PA season
Post by: afhunter1 on May 31, 2025, 11:04:46 AM
And it is pouring rain outside, not a chance I'm going out today.   Lol.   We got 10+ inches of rain in May this year and it has been cold and windy when it's not raining but I guess this is how this season should come to an end since it rained every other day it seems.    This season was TOUGH.    Turkeys cooperated a bit when I could get a nice day but that was few and far between.    Hope this is an anomaly and not the new normal.   On a good note i seen more Jakes this year than I have in decades so next year should be amazing.  Now time to plan for the three-pete.

Congrats guys on another successful season!!!!!

I know that you wanted to go out on a big note and wet, cold weather was not the note you wanted. Thank you for staying with it. The Northeastern states were simply drenched this year and made for some tough hunting all together.

A threepeat sounds good to me, for sure!

Cheers  ;D

I got lucky, swimming between the monsoons, and got a few nice birds. It was a down year for sure. Hopefully next year will be more normal. Z
