If you find the Sur-Shot be prepared to add some sort of additional sighting system. I put one on my 870-12 and poi went way hi. I heard others had similar experiences. Just alerting you to potential "problems ".

ONLY place you have any chance of finding one is at auction sites like Gunbroker, Guns International, Guns America and possibly Ebay.

I bought a Sure Shot stock for my 12ga 3.5" 870 ESM around 20 years ago from Cheaper Than Dirt for <$100 and absolutely loved it. Tried to put one on my 870 Express 3" some years ago but I couldn't bring myself to spend more for the stock and forearm than I paid for the gun.

And as has been stated, you had better be prepared to spend north of $300 for the stock and forearm.
I  Choate pistol grip on my 870 Express 12ga and are very happy with it. Another great option is a Stockies Stocks laminated thumbhole stock.

I was looking for shorter turkey barrels for my 870 Express Super Magnum and did come across a Remington camo Sure Shot stock for an 1100 and it was close to $400.

I ended up finding a now never used 23" iron sighted Remchoke turkey barrel for my 870 ESM I bought that cost over $150 MORE than I paid for the 870 ESM back in the mid 1990's.

IMO this is your best all around option:

Meadow creek(same company that makes the vent rib red dot mounts) had a pile of them last year. I bought a set from him. Don't know if they still have any, but you can email and ask him. Also, another option is to get a 12ga shurshot and use a " Lucy adapter) it's like 20 bux, and mates the 12ga stock up to the 20ga receiver.

Yeah. I think I paid close to what I paid for gun as I did for the stocks. They were dipped in greenleaf, which is what I was going to do with them anyway, so it was worth it to me. Finished off my build perfectly.
