Title: Vortex customer service
Post by: slicksbeagles1 on April 24, 2025, 08:59:14 AM
Guys I know somewhere on the forum this has been discussed! If all companies had customer support and warranties like Vortex you would not have to go anywhere else! I had a venom red dot that I could not get to adjusted up. I called and talked to them and discussed what was going on. I told them I have a hunt coming up 4-27-25 and it was on a backup gun. They told me to send it in and they put a rush on it. 2days later I got a call telling me the Venom was bad and that they would send me a new defender and because it was on a Meadow Creek mount they would send me a new plate from Meadow Creek  because the footprint is different. Just in case they also sent an adapter plate for what I have to use. It showed up in plenty of time to get set up. Now that is customer service.

Absoloute spectacular customer service from Venom. I have a couple scopes and a red dot. Any questions on issues were addressed immediately, no matter how small or if wasn't a manufacturer defect.  :you_rock:  Z

I run Leupold and Vortex. As good as Leupold has always been, I honestly believe that Vortex would do even more for the customer. I have been way beyond impressed with the Vortex customer service.

Best customer service I have ever gotten from any company. I broke a red dot. It was 100% my fault. They gave me a new one.

They're awesome. About 7 or 8 years ago, in the middle of deer season, I dropped a pair of binocs out of a treestand. They hit just about every limb on the way down and cracked one of the eye pieces. I sent them an email with a few pics saying it was 100% my fault, asked if they thought they could be repaired, and said I would cover the costs if a repair could be done.

They saw the pics and basically said just confirm your address for us, we'll send you a brand new pair. They rushed them out since it was during season and I that brand new pair in my hands a few days later.

Just adding to this. Same thing here! A handful of years ago I had a puppy and she somehow find a pair of binoculars in a duffel bag and chewed up the entire outside. You know how puppies do things...

Anyway, they sent me a new pair of binoculars and a chew toy for the dog 😂😂😂

Last fall after years and years of abuse, the eyepiece glass came out of my rifle scope. You could say that was definitely a defective part as it should never happen. Regardless I requested a model (if replacement was necessary) without the windage/elevatiom turrets as all the turrets do is screw me up. They sent out a comparable scope without the turrets just as I requested, and very quickly. They are great to talk to. Even funny on the phone. Makes you feel good.

Also, I live in Wyoming and thought I would support a local brand of optics in "Maven optics". I beg everyone to please never give them a shot lol. Not the best customer service and I've sent my optics in twice in two years. Each time I've had to get a laundry list back of all the things I'd done to these optics and why they must've broke. Ridiculous.

I second that.

I effed up my vortex venom cause it was junk and also wouldn't adjust up. They replaced it with a defender and replaced my sumtoy mount. And very quick like.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received.

Vortex has great customer service. Very helpful.  I had a pair of binoculars that wouldn't focus on one lens, no matter what.  Talked with them, and they put in a work order... a couple of weeks, maybe less, I got a package back. Brand new pair and all the extras.  New case, etc. Liked them so much after that, I bought a second pair of bios of a different size for my out west trip that year.

I agree their customer service is great. I've had excellent experiences with them. That said, the last sight I bought was a Holosun because Vortex DIDN'T HAVE A GREEN RETICLE!  I contacted them and they said one was in the works. That was 3 years ago, and as far as I know, still no green reticle.

Same exact thing for me. Slipped and fell on a rock bottomed creek and smashed my dot. They sent me a new one. I went ahead and bought a 2nd one for backup and carry it with me on my travels just in case!!

A couple of more accounts of the great customer service that Vortex supplies.

I was changing the battery in my Venom red dot and stripped out the screwdriver slot in top of the cover. Contacted them on 4/21 about purchasing a new cover. On 4/25 I had a new battery cover and a Vortex hat in my hands...free of charge.

I bought a used Vortex Crossbow scope. When I turned on the illuminated crosshair, the were red specs/dots all over in the field of view. I contacted Vortex and they email me a shipping label. I sent the scope in and 2 weeks later I had it back in my hands. Actually, I think they sent me a new scope. The box looked as if it had never been opened and contained everything you get when you purchase a scope.
