I have a Stevens Model 79 (410) pump I got for cheap and put aside for a future project.
It's factory full (fixed), but thinking Briley or somewhere could thread it for a choke? It has a vent rib, so a Meadow Creek and a Holosun would handle sight setup.
Maybe have someone fit it with a decent recoil pad, just for so, and if I wanna splurge have it cerakoted.
The trigger needs help. It's got a "robust" trigger pull.
What else might be on the list for such a project?
And, as my pragmatic side kicks in, I'm wondering if the cost of all this will add up to the point where a Mossberg SA-410 is similar cost and all the stuff needing done is....done.
