I just received this killer trumpet on a trade I did with this young, turkey dog man, Dylan Cole. I had known about this young fellow for a while and finally made his acquaintance in Nashville as he was there to call in the Grand Nationals.
He had the wings from a special turkey dog kill harvested in Quebec, Canada and wanted some calls made. I remembered Jeff Erb had told me that Dylan was turning some really good trumpets under his insistence and tutelage, so the deal was, we'd do a trade.
I received this trumpet the other day and I just can't put it down. It's made from Wester Myall from Australia, standard Delrin MP and "Beech Hunter" ferule (named for engraved beech blossoms). To say I'm happy with this player is an understatement.
Between this call and the one I just received from Kenneth Mullins, my wingbones and Jordans are going to have to share some vest space, lol!
Congrats buddy. Nice call.
Super cool!

Nice! I like to look of it, good to hear it plays well too 👍

I like that wood, it is very dense and beautiful too. Dang Tony, pretty soon you won't even have room for your own weapons ;D

True Dat!!!
Hey, if they make the "A" list, they make the trip. I doubt the turkey cares what he dies to, lol. And turkeys are going to die to this one!!!
Sharp looking horn!
Really nice one! Different!
I appreciate the kind words, Tony! It's been a pleasure getting to know you and the calls you made me are top shelf in tone, playability and looks. Thank you!!
Thanks everyone
