I wanted to showcase this box call that I "inherited" on my Osceola hunt last week. This box was very instrumental in "Gobbling In" a swamp Osceola. Mike Robare from X-Calls made this Tulipwood Box for our forum buddy Zelmo. It is not only easy on the eyes, but this box does it all. The gobble it put out definitely was instrumental in bringing in a wary Swamp Osceola. When I asked Mike to make me one just like it, Zelmo says "Just take this one". Means the world to me. I know Mike can duplicate it, all his boxes sound great. You won't be sorry if you try any of Mikes calls. Be safe.(https://i.ibb.co/k27KjsFy/1689-A5-FC-3-C70-4826-9458-C3-CC55-DB452-C.jpg) (https://i.ibb.co/qMX0zsFT/5-AE4021-E-4-BCD-453-B-9893-9-B962543-DB9-D.jpg)
My favorite wood. Nice looking call. When I get things straightened up he is going to make a Jordan out of tulipwood for me.
It's a nice call to have because it has special meaning for you. I like calls like that, they remind you of a important time, place, person, event... We place way too much importance on calls that are hard to get, rare and expensive instead of what really matters. Congrats!
