This is Duke's tournament, everyone else is playing for second place!

I am a Duke fan, I disagree with the above statement.

Heels...... Seriously, Duke could have beat them by 40 first time they played. You think I am stupid....Watch the game, 13 minutes into the 1st half Duke stopped playing! Watch it. 2ND game, come on. 3rd game, think about it????

The ACC needs them in the tourney.

Now, they are in the tournament? Yup they will win a couple. So what. It's UNC, a TV draw. Plan and simple.

My son's a Junior at UCONN, that means he's seen his school win two national titles already. Talk about spoiled!

Idk, Clemson lost to McNeese, Louisville lost today too, and UNC bearly made it into the field. So we were watching a pretty weak ACC this year.

Brown is an important part of their team and I doubt he plays.
I do not believe they have the heart at the end to win.

Daughter has really started watching. So I'm going to get to watch the competition this yr.

One, they run with seven pretty much and they stink from the perimeter.. but not last nite. In the  1st half, the refs blew the whistle so the game was tight..  If the officials let them play w/o the whistles they will advance. If it comes down to a shoot out... it won't happen for them. I'd love to see them run the table. However, I believe foul trouble and the ball not goin through the hoop will end it for them.

I'm throwing a Flagg for friendly fire! They are already playing well and will continue to do so.   The tarholes are also tanking as expected.

Everyone keep it fun and civil, but nothing wrong with poking the bear. I can dish it and take it. I've said before that we all share the same passion here and even though we may disagree on topics here and there, I have no doubt we could all share a campfire and enjoy each other's company and tales.

I won't even be watching my Sooners play this evening. I have no faith they'll actually be able to beat UConn. College basketball as a whole has been going way downhill for 20 years now. I'll be rooting on the Sooner softball and tennis teams, those are a blast.
NHL playoffs amping up though? Oh, yes please. I am ready to watch the Avalanche crush the Western Conference.

Sounds sensible. Pitino is a difference maker in tournaments however, so they have that advantage. But yes their shooting isn't good enough, especially these days.

UConn wins in an ugly rock fight. They'll have little to no shot against Florida unless the SEC as a whole was totally overrated, which I doubt, even though SEC teams are dropping like flies.

Tough game with some whistle happy officials I thought. They hung on, happy to see Karaban make a couple of big shots in the end.

Would love to say watch out for the University of Memphis (State) but we forgot to show up against Colorado State.  :help:

 I had a feeling it would go down like that. The game is called different outside the big east. They ran into a team just like them. Their body language was horrible in the later part of the 2nd half. Looking back now, RJ on the bench makes no sense. Ya gotta go with what got you there.

That's a pretty good percentage, alright. Unfortunately, I think it takes 100% to get into the "big money" on those sites that offer it (could be wrong...never really paid much attention to the bracket-betting stuff.  :)

I have wondered at times about how many "combinations and permutations" there are to get all of the possible outcomes on the tournament?  I'm sure there is a mathematician as a member here that could tell us. At one time in my life, I might have been able to figure it out myself...but that was "long ago, and far, far away"...   ;D

Very good pregame analysis trackey. The whistles were non stop. SJ looked a bit overrated but I haven't been keeping up with them.

Ohhh man I thought they were gonna get em. Bad breaks, bad bounces and the Gators made big shots in the end. The 61% ft shooter came up big. made his fts towards the end. That made the difference. If he alligator

I really have too much other stuff I care about more to pay much attention to it. My preference is that Duke has a 15-point lead with 3 minutes to go and somehow throws it away with 4 players and a coach getting technicals and ejected. They then loose by one on a Freethrow after time expires from a questionable call. Duke fans' meltdowns are the best and provide me with the most enjoyment. I predict that Florida takes it this year, and as long as it's anyone but Duke, I am ok with that.

Texas Tech had a 94% chance of winning with a 9 point lead and three minutes left in the game.  Then, a buzz saw occurred.  Clayton's run back out of the lane and 180 spin followed by nailing the three pointer will be replayed on One Shining Moment (if they still do that).

Duke looks pretty sporty.  So did Houston.  No easy outs at this point.

Somehow I had Tenn winning today....they got spanked and sent home by a way better team.

So far "Until present Bromme injury" Auburn is on track.

If you like ball, next Saturday will be a good day! Two good games! This weekend had good some good games.

This Auburn MI ST isn't over and I am already anticipating next Saturday!

I have an unbiased bracket and I have Florida winning.

I will not be to upset about all the flack I catch if Duke wins it all. But, first they have to get past Houston who happens to be pretty dang good.

The Florida/Auburn game will be a good game. If Bromme is healthy it's going to be a awesome one.

I haven't missed but a couple games since the 68 started. That's sad that I read it.... I like college ball! About like turkey season, at the end I am ready for it to be over!
