Shippers Beware!!! The USPS has lost a box that contained two of my Harold Fowler strikers. This package was sent Priority Mail. They are a pathetic. The latest tracking information update was March 4th. The package traveled approximately 30 miles before they managed to loose it.
I had a package shipped the 8th of Mar and still haven't received it ... All I can get from tracking is that it's still in transit to the next location
I feel your pain about the USPS
I have a Wingbone from EZ from my son's first turkey that shipped out February 27th and still haven't gotten it. It's said in transit since March 3rd and that was the latest update

All the same, FedEx, UPS, & USPS have all lost packages of mine over the years...
I insure everything, but it's still a hassle.

I'm presently waiting on a pkg from Scheels. It's been since early March. It sat over a week at the same regional center 10 mins from my work. It finally moved today. Went to another distribution center and has now been returned to the first one. Really aggravating me
Three years ago I bought a $1,000.00 fly rod for a bucket list trip. The seller shipped it USPS second day. It took over a month to get here and the outer package was damaged but fortunately the rod was fine.
About two years ago FedEx delivered a bench top lathe to my house that I did not order and it had no sender information. I called FedEx on three occasions trying to figure out what was going on. I tried to get them to come and get it and they told me no. It's now sitting in a buddy's barn.
They are all big giant outfits. I've worked in FedEx and UPS facilities it's amazing the amount of packages they handle. With the advent of online shopping it's not surprising that they have issues.
There's just ZERO consistency with any of the shippers. They charge outrageous prices for crappier service. Me and a guy on here traded calls last week. He mailed his from NC and I mailed mine from FL last Monday morning. His call made it to me by last Wednesday but my call to him just made it today. I would strongly suggest getting insurance on ANYTHING valued at over $100 to be safe.
Always document contents for insurance purposes.
Every month FedEx delivers a package of medicine to my front door. Problem is, it's not mine, it is not addressed to me. It has an address for a guy who lives on another street about a mile away. It has his name and his address, but they drop it of to me like clockwork.
After repeated calls I just deliver it myself.
I just shipped out two of his strikers as well not an hour ago, I hope there are no problems.
Just received a box call that took 22 days and traveled roughly 2060 miles. Funny thing is it only started about 400 miles from where I'm at. If your package ends up in Memphis it will be there for about a week then it's a toss up where they'll send it.

I had a batch of Gooserbat calls I won on this website go missing in transit 2 years ago.
Well that package was supposed to get to the person today but is stuck in the JACKSONVILLE FL DISTRIBUTION CENTER. Well at least it is in the right state.
I've still not received my package going through Memphis USPS that was shipped Mar 8 ... MEMPHIS TN is horrible ...
Ordered a shotgun part and it shipped March 17. It sat in IL for two days, then to St. Louis. No tracking for two more days, then arrived in Knoxville(less than 150 miles from me). From Knoxville, it went to Grand Rapids Michigan, then Atlanta, then Gastonia NC, then Charlotte, NC. On the 21st. I. Still waiting on it but it's getting closer...

That's odd because one of the places mine went through was Gastonia NC also.... I hope we receive our packages ...
I've had quite a few items route to CLT>Gastonia>CLT>Gastonia>Hickory before getting delivered. Absolutely poor logistics planning there. Good luck!
Now it's gone back to Gastonia from Charlotte. Geez....
The USPS is beyond incompetent. I ordered a stake puller for my traps on December 23rd and it finally showed up the first week of March. Currently I have a set of Gun Chaps that were sent to me on March 12 and the tracking number says they are in Florida and in process, whatever that means. These were shipped from New Jersey and I live in Georgia, so these were sent past GA down to Florida. So now they will have to come back North through a state they have already flown over or driven through to get to the final destination. Very inefficient needless to say.
Now it's in YBOR CITY FL two hours further than it was and 1 hour past where it needed to go from the last place. I hope this does not cost me a sale.
I had sold some older extra Old Gobbler patches to a member on this web site. When he sent a regular letter for payment to me it came back to him saying un able to deliver to that address. So he sent me a message telling me his payment came back to himself. I told him the address again, everything was correct. So sent again this time it went through. Didn't know that robot mail sorters, could fall a sleep, if that's what happened. Someone or someone was sleeping.

Delivery is is not just a problem with USPS. Last year I had a fly rod delivered by UPS to the wrong house. The delivery was taking a long time and when I checked was advised the rod had been delivered. I checked the delivery photo and recognized the house so I was able to get my rod. This past Friday checked on a delivery from Home Depot and was advised the item was lost. I am not sure on who was handling that item but it is not the USPS.

Jackson, MS is the worst. Local TV station did a story that showed thousands of packages stacked up everywhere and some had been there for weeks.

I don't care what anyone says but nothing has been right since Covid, even the toilet paper I have always bought became substandard since Covid.....well during Covid it went bad and never came back. Many things seem to be like that.
Unfortunately they all suck, but USPS is about to be unusable so keep that in mind when considering your shipping purveyor
USPS is by far the worst. I pray that these items show-up when USPS is involved!
I've got a number of bad experiences with USPS. When someone messes with the mail it is a federal crime. When thid federal govt entity loses, breaks, or temporarily misplaces mail and packages there are no repurcussions and meanwhile is getting more expensive.

I got home today and my package had arrived. Ten days late but very thankful I received it. Crossing my fingers for all you guys who still have stuff somewhere in there system, that you will all get your packages. The USPS needs a total overhaul from top to bottom and it can't happen soon enough.
A real bummer is when they misplace a firearm. Had it happen the customer was getting ansey and I didn't blame him. I submitted a complaint and they found it in a corner of a warehouse in Philly. Crazy glad it got resolved. Paid extra for quick ship but it was nothing but quick.
I've been hearing that USPS is on Trump and DOGE's radar for an overhaul. Couldn't come at a better time IMO. I can relate to most of the issues mentioned.
Well I finally have some good news, all my packages were delivered today ... USPS... I finally got in contact with someone at USPS, who was willing to help ...
Guys don't give up, hopefully y'all will receive your packages ...
One of the packages was over 18 days before delivery ...
Glad it worked out for you. I just got an evolope containing a couple dime sized parts. It took 7 days to get from the other side of the state.
