I had been curious why I haven't been seeing any posts here on Old Gobbler from Barry Arrington; then I recently learned he had passed. Barry and I communicated and talked several times, and I had hoped to some time go up to Bedford to visit and talk with him. Barry was an accomplished tube call player....and tube call designer. His collection of tube calls was impressive. Rest in Peace, Barry.............
He was an amazing person and loved hunting. He will be missed!

Thanks for the post. He showed a lot of older "snuff can" type tube calls, where the tradition started. I always enjoyed his pics and info. I'll have to go back and browse.

Barry Arrington was a big deal for the tube call. His take on it using a Doan's can made one of the best ever. RIP.

He will surely be missed. His knowledge about tubes and really all things hunting was extremely impressive. He always shared his knowledge every time I talked to him. He was a great guy.
