Title: IT's been a
Post by: callmakerman on March 01, 2025, 01:20:35 PM
tough winter up here in Central New York this year. We've had snow measuring in feet on a number of storms. So, between working at the ski area and snow removal at my home I've had little time for much else. One thing I want to take care of with a slight break in the weather is congratulating my friend and fellow call maker Ed Terefencko for his awesome showing at the NWTF Grand Nationals. Ed has been competing in this competition for a number of years and has done very well. This year was different with him taking the trifecta of the Don Chancey, Gibson, and call maker of the year awards. Awesome showing my friend and well earned. You've worked hard for many years, and it definitely shows.

Ed's been right there for a lot of those accolades in recent past and knocking on the door. This year he kicked the dang door down and said let me at 'em!!! Very well deserved and proud to own the ones I have. And to be truthful, I was on a couple more, but coming back from Duke after back surgery I got knocked off on the ones with the hardware!

Thank you Bill and thank you guys!  It truly appreciated....I've been building calls and entering in the Grand Nationals for a LONG time (19 years) and I am truly humbled by the results this year.  I've been trying for the Chancey Award for several years and my second Gibson for 15 years but each year there are more and more great callmakers entering which makes makes the competition tougher and tougher.  I absolutely never imagined winning a second Callmaker of the Year so when I got that news, I was completely blown away. My only regret is that I wasn't able to make the trip down to Nashville this year to enjoy it with everyone.  Thank you again guys, I appreciate everyone's kind words and support over the years
