Title: Awesome weekend feast.
Post by: Crutch on February 14, 2011, 07:25:53 PM
Just wanted to say thanks to my aunts and uncles who still own my grandparents farm so with the help from Yellowacorns, we planed a wild game dinner. My parents, 5 aunts and 2 uncles made it along with my two sisters and their spouses. 3 uncles are/were out of town.

On the menu was mashed potatos, stuffing, green beans, carrots and rolls then for the main course we had a large crock pot ful of squirrel dumplings (4 squirrels), frog legs, baked hen turkey, deep fried turkey nuggets, fried rabbit (3), 2 mule deer roast in crock pot with gravey, whitetail back strap steaks and elk steaks. What a feast!

Dessert was chess pie and carrot cake.

Already planned a Morel Mushroom dinner in the middle of Turkey season. Hope they are all still around to enjoy it.
