There is a guy on the Aldeer forum that has two of Shannon's callers for trade, I have nothing to do with this, don't know the guy, he is wanting to trade for some high in trumpets, just a heads up if someone might be interested.
I'd be interested but I'd rather get 1 from the source ...
I am the one looking to part ways. After further consideration and thought, I think it's only fair for me to sell them to a fellow hunter on Old Gobbler for what I paid for them from Shannon.
I was terrified every time I carried them to the woods, and cracked the sound board on the African Blackwood Pushpin with the one turkey that I called in and killed with it.
Shannon showed me just how good of a guy he was after that. I reached out to him and told him what happened. He immediately got back to me and told me to send the call back for him to replace the soundboard free of charge. What's funny is the call may have sounded better when I got it back. As good as he has been to work with, I can't sell it to just anyone.
I was lucky to get my hands on two of his calls and have thought all day after posting the calls on Aldeer and Facebook that I feel like a piece of crap. I paid $325 for both calls and bought a Yoder Holster for them, as well. I will take $350 for each call, including the holster. I took the carrying strap off of one of the holsters so I could put it on my belt loop without it being in the way.
I can't put my hands on it, but will reach out to Yoder to see if I can get a replacement strap for it Both calls are in near flawless, if not flawless shape because I didn't take them with me to the woods very often.
This is what they are:
African Blackwood OG Pushpin w/ Yoder Leather Carrying Case $350
Macassar Ebony OG Pushpin w/ Yoder Leather Carrying Case $350
My post count may not be high enough to post in the classifieds, so if that is an issue I will do what it takes to work around that. I have been on the forum for several years, I just don't post often. If you are concerned about the condition of the calls, I can send pictures of the the one you're interested in upon request and will hold payment until the buyer confirms that they are happy with the condition of the call. I'm confident that won't be an issue. I should have come to the forum to begin with. I am ashamed that I didn't, but want to make it right. Thanks for taking the time to read the long post.

A true turkey hunter deserves them, and I am confident that whoever buys the calls will enjoy them for years to come.

African Blackwood Pushpin is spoken for. The Macassar Ebony Pushpin is still available.

There aren't many call makers out there (probably none) that will stand behind a product and repair a damaged call. Shannon is a stand-up guy, moral person, and loyal to each and everyone of us on this great forum. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and sound quality of all his calls are second to none. He takes several days to "tune" every push-pin he makes. They sure changed the game for me in the turkey woods!
