Title: Question on Glenda Green Seat
Post by: Earlybird31 on February 03, 2025, 12:18:20 PM
For those that use the seat, would it hold up to cactus in South Texas? More specifically, would the Condura cover protect it? Regardless, I plan on getting one, but I'd like to know if I should leave it at home for the Texas trip.

Thanks in advance.

I've had 1 for a couple years now and it's held up really well. That being said .... i do hunt in Illinois,  so no I've not used it in Texas. But if it were me .... I'd take it.

Not sure how it would hold up to a Texas cactus but when I purchased mine she asked where I would be using it regarding the terrain. She has some leather type inserts she can add for more brier like protection. It has a zipper on the outside so you might be able to add more protection if needed.

I have used mine in Texas. Maybe I'm lucky, but it hasn't punctured yet. I do, however have to inflate it a little each season.

You could add a barrier as mentioned. I think it's the best rump roost out there.

I've poked a hole in mine with a thorn.  Put a
patch on it and it wouldn't seal good.  Bought some heavy duty tubes from Amazon and all is good with a back-up.  Will never hunt without it!  It's that good!
