This evening my girlfriend Jane passed away between 7:00 and 7:30 The doctor said she had an very massive heart attack in the last few days that was not caught. She had fallen a week ago roughly and injured her ribs, she was complaining about pain but we both thought it was from the ribs. The doctor said her heart was pumping less than 5 percent less than it should be and her kidneys, intestines and something else I do not recall were not getting enough blood and were all closing down. After speaking with the doctor he said she would likely not recover, may not make it through surgery and would come out worse than when she went in and I made the decision to let her go peacefully. I was able to hold her hand, stroke her hair and talk to her as she went. Once they stopped giving her the medicines that were keeping her alive and gave her some of what the called comfort drugs to make sure she would not be in pain she passed inside of I think 5 minutes and definitely within 10 Please pray for her sister and her nieces and nephews. She is going to be cremated and wants her ashes spread by her families cabin in MI I will be taking her and her late husbands ashes and spreading them there as soon as I can sell enough to get there. She had always wanted us to there, she talked about it so much I know she loved it there.
I thank all of you that have prayed and sent good vibes her way when she had her stroke this time last year and when she broke her hips in February and in June, I know they worked until it was Gods will to take her home. I so wish I could have given her so much more.

Thank you all for the prayers and replies. I went and made arrangements yesterday, the truth is with her wishes being what they were there was not much to be done. She did not want any form of service at all, she and I were always in agreement that we found funerals to rather morbid and we did not want to put our loved ones through that. No insult intended to anyone, it is a personal choice.
Our Misty Girl is beginning to sense something is amiss finally, she keeps going to Jane's room and looking at me, I can't bring myself to follow her in though, I know the room needs to be cleaned but I feel that if I clean it and start getting rid of stuff that I will be erasing her existence. I want to run so badly but I can't because of our dog.

Thank you. I went to her place today, that was not hard until I went into her living room where we spent most of our time there, kinda hit me rather hard there. I am trying to clean the place out the best I can, I have no desire to stick the landlord but there is only so much I can do with my body the way it is. I am going to ask him if he wants some of the furniture left there so he can rent it as a partially furnished place. Her clothes will be donated to the nursing home she was in twice to rehab her hips except her Winter gear, most of those people are not going home I am sorry to say, so the Winter stuff I am going to keep with me and go into the city sometime this year and find some homeless woman to donate them to. Jane and I had both been homeless in our lives and we know what it is like, it is really rough in the Winter. I think that would make Jane happy. The stuff here I have not been able to deal with though, I still have not been able to step into her room yet.

Thanks to each of you. Her sister and nephew came up Friday, I wanted to be sure they got their family pictures and see if there was anything else they wanted. They left this morning, wish they could have stayed longer, I enjoyed looking at pictures and hearing stories from when she was younger.

Thanks to each of you. Sitting here going through her clothes to donate to the rehab center/nursing home she was in, many of those ladies had nothing to very little and Jane wanted her clothes donated so I will be bringing much of it there. Going through her apartment was hard but dealing with stuff in our space is so much harder, I hardly come in her room, it hurts so much but it is getting cold here in NY and those ladies need these clothes.
