Title: TK2000 - I know of one on a rack
Post by: btomlin on August 09, 2024, 01:56:05 PM
I stopped at a gun shop yesterday to kill some time and they had a camo Knight TK2000 on consignment.  I picked it up and the weight instantly made me remember why I sold mine. Ha!  If any one is interested, please PM and I will get you the shop info.  I didn't want to list it here and have the poor guy get 1000 phone calls. LOL.

I bought one brand new many years ago. Very light gun! Of course I loaded it with the max powder and a 2 1/4 ounce load of pellets to try it out. When I pulled the trigger ( MY GAWD). It knocked my hat 3 feet out in front of me and just about dumped the shooting table I was using. I did end up killing a turkey with it then, I sold it to a friend  ;) . He ended up selling it as well! LMAO

I run 90 gr powder and 2 ounces of TSS and the thump is no worse than a 3.5" 12 gauge that I used to hunt geese with. I learned my lesson on that-big difference in a couple of shots to sight in and then shooting when a gobbler is in your sights vs 25-40 rounds a day.  Maybe I got the only two soft shooting TKs ever made, but no one that has shot them has complained.
