These two trumpets have a bell shape that I have used one time before, just a little something different. They are ABW & Amazon Rosewood. Oh yeah, the ferrules are not glued in yet.

WOW!!!
Very nice!
Both are beautiful and I'm liking the shape of the bells
Fine looking calls. I really like the one on the right, something about that red though the other also has wonderful grain.
Elegant looking!

Thanks Greg....I like the bell too. Fun testing bell shape/mass as it does affect the sound/tone a bit too.

Thanks....Yeah, that Amazon Rosewood has a very unique red color to it, beautiful wood. The ABW does have some nice grain, don't always see grain like this on ABW.
I like the looks of them!

Great work Greg. I like the bell. Killer calls
Beautiful calls
Beauties
Love the look of that rosewood Greg! Starting to fall for the red wine look of these different rose woods
The Amazon Rosewood is somewhat hard to come by. Some say it's a close replacement for Brazilian Rosewood but I find it has a straighter grain than Brazilian Rosewood and it's a lot more dense. Amazon Rosewood almost always sinks. It's one of the best tonewoods IMO.

This the 1st Amazon Rosewood trumpet I have turned, it does make a very nice call. I want to make some more, and will be on the lookout for some blanks.
couple of beauty's for sure
Great looking calls as always Greg. I'm sure they are sweet sounding as well,
