That seems to be pretty common with these thieves. Sometimes they use a name very similar to the person you really want to deal with.
Be cautious, check things carefully and never fall for the "let's take it off the board to email" attempt.
Shannon bans 'em when we find them but there seems to be an inexhaustible supply of con artists.
