Title: 870 Compact 18:5”

I've found an 870 Express Compact 20ga. with a 18.5" barrel, which I believe is the newer version. Has anyone tried one?  Is 18.5" too short?  Would we be losing velocity with turkey loads?

The 18.5 is not too short. It will work just fine for a turkey rig.
