Title: Mounting Burris to SBEiii 20 gauge question
Post by: WTNUT on April 17, 2024, 02:50:39 PM
I just received a new SBEiii 20 gauge,  I don't know if it is drilled to accept the mounting block made by sumtoy.   If not,  I can get it drilled by my best friend who has a significant machine shop.  My question is - how far forward,  or how do you know where to mount the Burris FF3 if I go that route?

Some of the new Benelli come drilled with 2 holes in the back.    They have been working  with our mounts.   Now that said you want to put the mount on the very back of the receiver so your eye look through the sight not at it.   You get way out you can have problem looking at sight not bird or at bird and not see sight.  It a fine line you walk.

Thanks Sumtoy and others.  Ordered the mount and Burris FF3 from Sumtoy.
