What type of call do you use most during the course of a days hunt? Example: Box, slate, etc.

Assortment of calls
Diaphragm
If I could only have one call, it would be a diaphragm...
Two calls I would add a box call.
Three calls, I would (and do) take a scratcher.
I have a box call that birds seem to respond (initially) to more than any other call I have. I probably roll that lid more than I blow into the mouth call, but the mouth call is more versatile.
Slate
I use a Marlin Watkins box call when trying to get their attention and usually go to my slate to get them to close the distance. I cannot for the life of me use the box call to purr, the slate does great at light clucks and purrs. So its my go to when I need them to close distance.
Pot call and mouth call. Mouth call is trending up
I use a mouth call 98% of the time. On my son's turkey yesterday, I struck him with a pot call, he didn't budge. After a while, I tried my trumpet, he climbed all over it but wouldn't budge, tried my box call, wouldn't budge, we made a move on him and I left the vest and everything. I took nothing but the mouth call in my mouth, and my boy killed him.

A Daybreak calls pot and Harold Fowler striker
If I could only take one call. It would be a box. I use a slate as well. My mouth call skills suck, much like my hooting. So I do neither. Also hard to use my tobacco and a diaphragm. Priorities lol
Mouth yelper more then anything else .
Tube and wingbone are around my neck as I feel naked
Without either .
Red slate
Homemade slate and finish with a new favorite mouth call...Houndstooth Sawbriar. Raspy and can get real soft with it.
Box call is my favorite. I also use a trough call when I need to tone it down or give them something different. Long box is something I always take as well, they are extremely versatile. All these are calls that I build.
My go to call is definitely a box, followed by a mouth call and slate. Mouth call is imperative to keep both hands freed up when you get him in close.
Trumpet or cane yelper
Go to is a mouth yelper but would be hard pressed to ever leave my trumpet at home.
Distant bird - box
Close bird - tube
An old K and H Lonesome Hen always close at hand
Trumpet is the main call all the time.

I picked up a Houndstooth Sawbriar myself this season and while I am far from expert it has got a bird (or two) to finish and raise that noggin to receive the award!
Long Box to start then the Payne push pin to close.
Diaphragm call then pot call
On a serious note... Usually a glass pot gets em going. Then I Finnish it off with a mouth call.
Mouth and slate pot call mostly
Mouth and box calls.
Ghost cut mouth calls from either Del Crow or Sadler McGraw
But I also love a good glass pot call. Strike them with the pot and finish with the diaphragm!

When I get to working a turkey I'm using my mouth call the most. I've really been using a trumpet a lot more this season though and am getting a good response with it.

A long/mini boat box.
I am fond of a Copper pot and a slate pot, but I've been using a Cane yelper almost exclusively this year with great results!

And tubes but the Redwasp is the cats meow.
Gray slate in a plastic pot with a modified ghost cut diaphragm to finish
