Title: Springfield 944 A 1969
Post by: HillclimberWV on March 28, 2024, 09:59:29 PM
Picked this one up from a guy at work before season last spring. The buttplate was gone and  he didn't like shooting it. Gave him $100 and. I've got 30 in the leather cheek rest.

I took it home and polished the barrel, and it patterns pretty well at 35 yards with  longbeards. It is a 3" chamber. It is not pleasant to shoot on the bench, but i didn't notice while hunting. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240329/c39bc7ce0e273808b66a0c04cee4f0fa.jpg)

Yeah it only weighs about 6.5lbs. Makes it pretty lively when you touch one off but its nice to pack in the woods.
