I dearly love my job with the LDWF. It is very nice to be working in the place where I grew up. Nothing beats home. Unfortunately to go farther in my carear, I must look beyond contentment and move forward. I just applied for a Turkey study leader position with another state. I am not sure how qualified I am, but the old Turkey Study Leader I worked under feels I would be qualified. He told me that he felt like I should apply if just for the experience of applying. I am not unhappy where I am and dont want to burn any bridges here. Wish me Luck!
Good luck!!!! Please keep us posted!
Good luck to you! Hopefully you will get it and move up in the ranks

Heck, when I intervied for my position with LDWF, I was up against guys with Master Degrees. I still got the job here. Who knows maybe It is ment to be. If not, then I will have atleast tried.

Well I hope yall get someone good as well. I know yall have had some hard times in the last few years.
Man, I wish there was a way to magically get some ducks to change their flight patterns a little. Id say we Ga boys could do without 50 or 60 thousand turkeys every year if yall could figure out how to get that many ducks to come through our state.
