Just got here 30 mins ago. 10hrs at work and 8hr drive but I've been waiting along time to hunt Mississippi.
Supposed to rain all day but hopefully that will get them out in the open.
Gonna get a nap and get after it.

Started raining right at daylight and rained pretty hard at times. No gobbles heard. Called up 3 vocal hens about 8:30, was hoping they would entice a gobble or gobbler but they did not.
Very calm for the most part, not a lot of action of any kind. Starting to rain again. Might find a food plot to sit on for a while. Better weather tomor hopefully.
