Two simple questions:
What do you do for a living?
How many mornings do you typically turkey hunt each spring?
I work in landscape and I usually get 13 mornings per spring.
I'm a supervisor at an aluminum wheel casting plant.
I typically get 2 to 3 mornings to hunt without using vacation time. If I use vacation time, typically 9 to 14 days.
But I hunt every evening

I'm semi retired from the environmental consulting business, think earths janitor. I still work for the same company I worked for for the last twenty years cleaning up the messes large industry creates.
When I was full time it was pretty much a pressure cooker 50-70 hours a week. Sneaking out to hunt was tough unless I took vacation days and I hunted so infrequently I can't really put an average number to it. No that I can set my schedule I intend to hunt all or part of 12-20 days this spring.

I try to hunt between 20-25 days each spring, although I am free to go a lot more than that. If the nearest turkeys weren't a minimum two-hour drive away, I probably would try to go more. :)
I retired from the state of Louisiana after 32 years running a survey crew. Now I work a couple of days a week for a land surveyor who was one of my field supervisors
I could probably hunt more but I go if I think I want to. And I am in the woods listening every morning during March and April unless it's storming.
I'm in leadership for a fortune 500 insurance company. Will retire at 55. The plan was 50 but the cost of sending 3 kids to private school has altered those plans. ::)

I am retired L.E. after 32 years of service. I am currently working on my second million dollars as I long ago, gave up on the first one. Now that I have time to hunt my legs aren't up to these mountains as much. I'll still hunt 15-20 mornings or until I take a bird or two. I hunt two states but have a self imposed limit of one bird per state.

I typically hunt 4 states a year for about 15-20 days a season.
After retirement I intend to hunt 3-4x that amount in a lot more states.

Retired from 31 years with ODNR from a tech to a fish Hatchery Superintendent (the last 22 years of my career). I was blessed to live my dream, but like all things if you do something long enough it becomes a job. It was a job I loved but rearing fish is a high stress job. Any given day you could loose thousands of fish to a dozen different things. If you lost them the whole state suffered. I was proud to have made some big breakthroughs and serve my fellow sportsmen. While i was working turkey season came in our spawning seasons and the Hatchery was a 7 day operation with long hrs, but I could usually squeeze in a couple hrs in the morning before work and a few days off with vacation. Now I hunt everyday of season I have a tag or someone else to go. I hunt two states from mid April to late may and then again in the fall.

ER doctor. 10-12 hunts depending on my schedule. I switch between day and night shifts.
Have my own business as a bricklayer. I went on my own last June. Regardless of how busy it is, i hunt every day in Canada (April 25th - May 31st) plus a few states each year. By late season in Canada, we can legally shoot by 5:15am (sunrise is at 5:45 late season), so i can hunt before work even if start time is @ 7:30. Cut off time is 7 here, so i go after work too, even if its just for 30 mins. When my tags are filled (2 in Canada), i keep going and record hen audio and/or just enjoy every spring morning.

Retired factory worker,44 yrs. Only hunt my home state so I hunt till the tag is filled or seasons over.
Funeral director/embalmer. Own and operate two small town funeral homes in rural area about 19 miles apart. The amount of hunting I get to do depends on how much my phone has been ringing. I retired a little over a year ago. I worked for the city for a little over 23 years in various departments. I worked the last 12 years in the streets department doing streets repair/ street maintenance... replacing concrete, fixing potholes, plowing snow, etc.
The number days I hunt varies depending on when/if my wife, my buddy and fill our tags or or the season ends. Last year I hunted 12 days. The year before it was 6.
I'm a retired engineer. Initially I went through an electrical apprenticeship and worked as an electrician for a number of years. Then, with night school and training, ended up an electronic technologist. Then...more years of school, an electrical engineer.
The first several years I retired I hunted 30 or 40 days a year. I've toned that down to about 20 or so now. As I've gotten older I see that there are other "spring things" just as exciting as turkey hunting, e.g. going on a deep sea fishing trip mid-May this year with my son and grandson.

Semi retired from the construction/ welding. Have worked in the healthcare business for the last few years. I work out of my home, work my own hours so I can pretty much hunt every day of season if I choose. It's truly a blessing from God.
I own my own building materials business in West TN so I'm fortunate to hunt a lot. I have good employees who take care of things when I'm gone. I've got three teenagers so all my hunting is local but I hope to start traveling some in the near future when things slow down with them.

Years ago, I hunted 35-40 days a spring.
Now I hunt 15-20. Honestly, 15-20 days is plenty of time for limits in the states I hunt.
I'm a youth minister...have been for going on 18 years, and I love it! I also do quite a bit of work (without pay) for our school system working with and mentoring students that need a little extra help. Set hours are not a reality, but I do my best to work things around to where I can go a day or two a week, at least. Work and wrangling my own three children don't allow me to go as much as I'd like, but I wouldn't change that for anything.
Most springs I average 10-12 mornings, and I'll get out several afternoons, also.
