Title: Vortex Customer Support
Post by: zelmo1 on March 02, 2024, 06:48:20 PM
I just bought a Vortex Venom for my 301 and the hardware was wrong. I emailed Vortex and told them the issue. I also told them that it was probably a retail store issue as it was a demo. They were extremely helpful and I got my new hardware , 4 not 2, and they threw in a nice vortex hat. I thought that was mighty nice of them. Fast, friendly service with extra product and a hat. I give 2 thumbs up. Z

Thanks for the info, Ive have vortex binoculars for2- 3 years I think and I just noticed the eye cups dont screw in and out smoothly anymore. I think they are broken because they just spin and spin. I bought Maven's to replace but maybe I'll call em up.

I have some vortex optics and haven't had to use their warranty but have heard very good things about them standing behind their products.

I once dropped my binos and the one eyepiece broke. They replaced it. They told me I could run over it with my truck, gather up the parts and send them in for a replacement. Literally unconditional warranty.

Vortex is top notch I love the products. Glad to hear their customer service was so helpful, not many companies left with good c/s anymore. Thanks for the heads up. God bless

I was given a pair of used Vortex binos that had dust infiltration inside the lenses.  I used them as a standby pair for a few years and read where the Vortex products had an unconditional warrantee.  Decided to find out if they would refurb the binos, so I sent them in.  They fixed them up without question.  Their products are very good and the no-questions-asked warrantee makes them worth every penny.   :icon_thumright:

I've had great service out of VORTEX.  They were very professional,  helpful, and excellent.  I own a couple pairs of their binoculars and would definitely buy from them without question.  Great company IMO.

Definitely call them up so you can have a solid backup pair.

Some will argue that vortex's warranty is so good because the product is sub par. I haven't found that to be true but living in Wyoming, that's the constant argument in comparing optics.

I had a pair of cheap vortex binoculars that my puppy (at that time) somehow got off the counter, out of the bino harness, and chewed up. I sent them in. They fixed them and sent me a vortex chew toy HAHAHA. I must not have been the first one!

I shouldn't tell you this but I bought an old pair of Vortex off a site similar to OG.  The add said there were scratches on the lenses but not noticeable.   Well, they were noticeable so I called Vortex.  They had me send them in for repair which turned out not to be possible so they replaced them.  I paid $60.00 for the first pair but the model was discontinued and they sent me replacement pair that was three notches up the ladder from where I started.   And a hat!

I work in retail for the largest sportsmen outfitter in the USA. Along with hunting gear, we sell optics. I deal with Vortex products every day. I can tell you and swear on a stack of Bibles that you will find no better customer service on this planet...

I have a few vortex scopes and had an issue with the crosshair on one of them. When I called their customer service rep was super friendly. I received a new one fairly quickly.

I also have nothing but good things to say about Vortex customer service. I have 2 pair of Vortex binoculars and a venom red dot. Last spring I lost the dust cover for my red dot, so I emailed them asking for info to "buy" a replacement. They emailed me back the next day telling me that a new one it's way and a couple days later I received a new cover...PLUS a hat!
A few months later I bought my father a new pair of binoculars and I didn't even look at any brand other than Vortex.
