Hi all, I've been a lurker here for a while but thought I should join. I'm from Arizona and have been turkey hunting (whenever I can get drawn in the lottery) for about 14 years. Just found that I was drawn this year for the late May season, so I'm already getting excited and driving my wife crazy with my calling :toothy12:. Last time I was drawn was three years ago, and I got my first tom. I've harvested a jake and two hens during the Fall season, but that was my first tom.
I hunt turkey exclusively with a muzzleloading shotgun. Quite the challenge :)! Hunt deer, elk and javelina with my 50 cal muzzleloader, too. Shot a nice cow elk last October.
Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself.

I respect the muzzle loader, good for you. I will at sometime give it a go.
You really should! I used to kill elk and deer with my 30.06 and javelina with my Thompson Contender. But it was much easier to get drawn for elk in the muzzleloader season, so I started hunting elk with a 50 cal. Then I bought a 12 gauge ML and turkeys started dropping to it. Now ML is all I hunt with. Lots of fun!
