Title: On the prowl
Post by: mossy835 on July 12, 2011, 04:13:23 PM
Well since I did not kill a gobbler this year yet I am posting a picture to show I did try. Rick Wakefield from Buck Canyon Lodge in WA was trying to work up another chance for me. So you see my gun, gear and vest in the back country. We had just climbed a ridge ran into a mother bear with two cubs and we were heading back out when my fiend Russ took this photo. From where we were you could see all the way down to lake Roosevelt, quite a view. Enjoy.

You didn't kill one because your facemask is completely see-through from the outside!  Get a new mask and I predict two gobblers next spring. :D

Looks like a beautiful place. :icon_thumright:

Actually I enhanced the image the face mask does hide me  :fud:  , I woke up the day before with little or no vision in my right eye (yes I am taking care of it) so I could not shoot anyway. Going back for the late fall hunt in the snow if everything is all healed up. This area is vast and very beautiful with a huge lake full of fish. Thanks for the comment.
