Not sure if this has been posted but looks like a great option for hunters that use decoys. Might get one for bowhunting.

I saw this in an email they sent out yesterday as well.. I like my DSD decoys quite a bit but they are definitely bulky and heavy to carry around the woods. That setup may make it way easier to use them to hunt regularly

To each their own depending on how they hunt, I guess. I suspect this is the "cat's meow" for some folks, but here's my honest review based on what I see. Just glancing at that chest pack dealybob, my first thought is that anybody that hunts the way I do and in the country I typically hunt would either be looking every two minutes to see what fell out...or would lose half of their gear during a hunt.
Personally, I will quite often cover several miles over some pretty rough terrain when hunting. Many of the articles carried in that piece of gear are unsecured to a degree that they might be lost. I like the idea of having everything conveniently at hand like that, but there's no way that contraption would work for me. Open-ended compartments that can't be completely secured are out.
In addition, that piece of gear is just another rendition of similar products put out over the last few years by other companies. I bought one of those years ago, looked at its weaknesses (same as this one), and it has been sitting in a drawer ever since. Bottom line recommendation is to consider how and where you hunt before purchasing...
I couldn't agree more with GNut. The backpack for decoy hunters seems ok if you need to carry decoys but the front minimalist pack is fraught with problems waiting to happen.
Sorry, but rare earth magnets pop open unannounced. I'm not putting my $75 carbon fiber striker in that slot w/o a cover flap and preferably a button. Idk what's the aversion to buttons? They're secure and quiet. Vest manufacturers should go back to what's always worked for generations. I like coated zippers too, you slowly unzip and it makes no noise.
I whole heartedly agree about the chest pack. I want zipped or buttoned compartments for my calls and gear. The backpack for the decoys is what I would consider looking at if it made carrying them easier and more efficient if they plan to be used for the day's hunt.
I havent tried one, but it just looks like it would constrict my gun movement. I like the concept of utilizing space and smallerl and lighter gear. I just cant try this one. DSD makes great quality products, Im just sticking to his decoys right now. I only use multiple decoys on a field hund with my bwife usually so multiple decoys isnt really an issue. Z
Zelmo I see what you are saying but it does have one advantage. Sometimes I wear my Marsupial bino harness while turkey hunting and I found it makes a great rest for the stock of your gun. While working a bird you can set the gun stock right on it and take all the weight off while a wary bird slowly comes in. Yea I love their decoys and I might pick up the bag to hold my jake and hen DSD.
