Drew a very limited Florida WMA hunt deep in the south zone and have started scouting it heavily. Placed a camera in an area with plenty of tracks. This guy shows up often between 2 and 4 pm. I know I'll be walking in pre-dawn but sure hope I have the patience to wait him out. Maybe he'll be close by and slip in about 20 minutes after flydown. For whatever reason these birds almost never gobble. Good luck to all.
Sorry about the picture sizing. Always a problem on this forum for me. The sun really brings up his Osceola glow.
Good luck Mr. Joey, please share any other pictures you get, love seeing all the different animals walking or crawling around down there. Especially the giant snakes. :anim_25:
Nice to see, keep scouting and good luck.
Good luck
Good luck to you! I'll be at it next weekend on a south zone youth hunt. I hope the rain that is forecasted doesn't come. it is saying 1.5" in 2 days.
Good luck! Will be down on a draw hunt the first week of March. Can't wait
Has been a very wet "dry season". If I can get it reduced I have an unbelievable snake picture from an area of Florida that is supposedly far north of the python line. Good luck with the Youth Hunt.
Heard it has been wet with the El Nino going on. We have almost no snow here in NE NY and the last storm just went south, it has been pretty warm, too.
Good thing they now allow all day hunting on WMAs, glad they made the change since quota hunts are mostly limited to a few days.
Yea good luck to ya. Keep us posted to see if you got him
Awesome, thanks for sharing!!! Looking forward for many more!!!

Here's a giant snake for you. Put it on it's own thread
