Title: New Williams Reflex Sight
Post by: MarkTwain Hunter on January 21, 2024, 06:24:04 PM
Williams has developed a low profile reflex sight especially for shotguns.  It is has a low profile red dot, but a high profile framework.  Looks like it might be a little cumbersome in the turkey woods.  I like the Vortex Venom with Sumtoy mount better.

How much higher we talking .75-1" higher? In MY opinion, can not possibly see another 1-1.5" in height making any noticeable difference. I used AM clamp on FI/iron sights on my 870 vent rib for 15 seasons at least, then eyesight change forced me to use a shotgun scope at 2x. Talking at least 2" higher than my iron sights and never has caused any issues for me. Then again that's just me and I have scopes on all my long guns I use for hunting so I am absolutely use to moving through the woods with a scope long gun especially crawling with one.
