Title: New Reflex Sight From Williams Gun Sight Company
Post by: mountainhunter1 on January 20, 2024, 10:55:24 AM
They have just came out with a new and really unique take on the red dot reflex site. Want to thank Bwhana on this board who brought this to my attention. My question - how many of you on here have dealt with this company? They have evidently been around for a long time and seem to be making good stuff. Can some of you on here shed any further light on them and your thoughts on their product quality and customer service? Just wanting to get a bit more info on the company personally as I am thinking about trying one of these sights.

Here is the new red dot sight if you want to check it out and they have their own adaptor base that makes it sit even lower on the gun. That will also allow one to get an extra screw or two into the receiver when mounting the sight. With the adaptor base and the design itself, their set up can get you 30% lower on the shotgun than a traditional reflex sight:

I really like the concept of the red dot and in some ways it has its own built in protection. Even if it's mounted on picatinny rail it will sit lower to the receiver. It will sit lower than a scope on a shotgun.

I have bought their Fire Sights from them 3 separate times for various guns I own, and everything has always been good. Those sights were better made than the sights that came on my Mossberg 835. The original rear sight would actually move real easy if you bumped it. The Williams don't. Don't know anything about their other products, but they were helpful to me when I had questions

Yeah, I love everything else I've ever gotten from Williams. I'm actually running an Ace In The Hole fire sight and rail as a back up on a scoped turkey gun. It's a great sight all around and would be great as a primary. I put it on this turkey gun though in case anything ever happened to the scope while I was out on a hunt I could just remove the scope and still have a sighted in rear sight.

Looks like a nice setup for sure.  Still rocking iron sights or beads.

Works similar to a SumToy base. SumToy base with a ff3 I would think is just as low and you have a lifetime warranty from Burris. Not sure that companies warranty. SumToy also has a base that will protect the red dot.

That LRS looks like something I "need".   It's a cool design and the company itself seems very solid.

I like it.  I'm not in the market for a red dot right now, but next time I am this will be on the short list.

I saw Blue Collar Outdoors review video of it and it looks sick. I would probably buy one if I needed a red dot. I have heard good things about the company as well.

Only thing I saw at a quick glance that makes me question it is the 6 levels of brightness. I want a sight that auto adjust. I guess I'm spoiled with Fast Fires but I don't want it if I have to adjust it through the day. It may have an auto adjust feature just didn't see it.
