Awesome!
Very nice bird and like the mount. What is the story behind mounting him?
I do like the dead mounts. You don't see a lot of them and they add a unique way to show of your bird. Congrats!
Looks great. Awesome mount.

I like that mount a lot, Pretty cool!
Looks really awesome! Please post a picture showing entire bird/ mount??
I will post a full picture of the mount tomorrow.
The story behind the mount came from my sons first bird he shot, had spurs big enough to hang in a tree, and he thought that was real cool, and that was 4 years ago. That was our last turkey hunt together, as he past away from a brain tumor 2 years ago. This wasn't his turkey, but the deer skull was one he shot, and the gun was one he purchased at an auction (he liked the single shots), the cedar tree and the bird itself came from the farm. The mount was done by a taxidermist in Washington, In. Lengachers Taxidermy. He has actually won several awards at the NWTF. So it is more of a tribute to my son and our time together hunting.
Fantastic tribute to your son, I really love the concept and the way it came out. :jesus-cross: :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an Z
