Hey Fellas,
For you Texans, from past hunting experiences is the opening week in the south zone good or is it better towards the end of March? I'm trying to decide on when to book my 4 days down there.
Thanks, WW
Opening is good, but anytime in March should be real good. Texas is reportedly looking into some turkey season changes, but most of the Rio rich areas of south, central and north Texas looks like it won't be affected. But keep an eye on those season dates for the next few months.
I think I'll book the South Texas opener for the first 4 days and hope the weather isn't too bad.
S. Texas doesn't have much winter and this one is panning out to be fairly warm. Should be a good year to go unless something unforseen and big happens.
