TJ's calls are worth the wait, but the wait may be somewhat longer as TJ is a full time minister now. I recommend his calls strongly. They are excellent and there is no finer person to talk to.

I have a TJ Johnson box call, Purple heart and/Cedar. Possibly the best sounding box that I have ever used or heard. I only say Possibly because it ain't turkey season just yet.

I have a bloodwood over mineral pop fiddlebox he made me 4-5 years ago that's hands down as good as a they come. He's a really cool guy and it's been interesting seeing the different directions life has taken him. I think he's now found his true calling. I'm proud to own a couple of his calls.
