Title: Williams Ace in the Hole
Post by: ChesterCopperpot on July 21, 2023, 07:36:41 AM
I started a 20ga sxs build right around end of season and part of that required moving my Holosun 507c off of my primary turkey gun onto this new project. So anyhow, I was torn between wanting to put another reflex or maybe a scope on it or running a rear sight. I wound up putting this Williams Ace In The Hole on the back, which is a picatinny with an incorporated peep, and a twilight aperture. I flat love it. If I do decide to add a scope obviously I'm ready to go, but I kind of think I'll just wind up running the peep. I went big on the aperture thinking short range and shotgun. Might play around some with that, but I really love it and think it's gonna be a bulletproof set up.

Keep us posted on how you feel about the peep after you shoot it a few times.

Interesting.   I hope it works out well for you.  I don't think I could get used to it now.

Nice looking setup, even the using just the ghost ring (no aperture) or a big hole twilight screwed in they are very accurate.

Watched a guy split a .22 bullet in half on an ax blade breaking a clay pigeon on either side of the blade last month, he had a large hole twilight screwed in. Saw him do it last fall also with just the ghost ring.
Not hard at all to get used to.
