Title: What You Cooking For the 4th ?

I've got rib meat, pork tenderloin and chicken legs cooking on the grill... Bake beans and slaw on the side.. Also making a freezer of homemade banana ice cream  ... Yummy ....

Steamed Shrimp done in beer and Old Bay
Ketchup mixed with horseradish for a dipping sauce
Baked Potatoes
Corn steamed inside burlap bags with a wood fire
Hot dogs
Hamburgers
Chips, various cheese's, soda, beer
Ice cold watermelon

Tal now if you are asking how good was it, I would have to give you a Grandpa Jones reply.
Why it's as close as you can get to the pearly gates and still have one foot on the ground!

Grilled deer loin steak over a hickory fire, Cole slaw, baked beans and corn bread with homemade black raspberry ice cream.

Deer burgers , cowboy beans , home grown tomatoes ????.
Had to scarf it down though . Owning a hvac business doesn't lend much
Down time this time of year in the dirty south!

Pork butt, cole slaw, baked beans and tater salad.  Desert was cobbler made from wine berries picked in Claytor Lake State Park in Virginia wif vanilla bean ice cream!

I made 15lbs of wild turkey nuggets marinated in pickle juice and buttermilk, along with 20lbs of homemade french fries. Both went in the fryer.
