Title: Green/brown cerakote
Post by: kytrkyhntr on May 22, 2023, 07:39:31 AM
My guns dip job finally on its last leg. I'm going to have it cerakoted this off season. If you have a cerakote job that's green or brown drop a photo and what the official name of the color is. Looking for references and some inspiration on what to do with mine. Thanks

You're in Kentucky. Check out Koehler Customs. They're one of the very best, and they offer takes on a lot of traditional patterns.

My guy blasted off the factory camo and did the whole gun for $300.

He's a local to my area. I had talked to black dove before I found this guy. Small outfit works in shop behind his house. Mostly deals in custom build AR stuff.

I only paid 350 for my sa20 a while back, not sure I would dump $300 into it?

But the dips don't seem to hold up?

I debated dipping vs cerakote. Ultimately I decided on cerakoting. It was double the cost of dipping but dip just doesn't hold up. Cerakoting will last forever.

I sent my to Koehler just this week so I'll report back. He's doing my affinity in old bottomlands
