Is there a red dot scope that will screw directly to the tapped receiver of a Mossberg 935 without using a rail. trying to get the lowest mounting on the gun
I'm not aware of a direct to receiver scope but I put a sumtoy on mine. It's contoured, sits flush w minimal rise. I see the green front fiber optic in the bottom of the FF3 window.
The SumToy mounts that RiverBuck mentioned are phenomenal. I'd also look into a MeadowCreek rib mount as another low profile option.
