Got me a H&R 20ga. full choke...only $90, I can shoot heavy shot in it as well.
We went "just to look" and they had it in the rack. I showed it to mama and she asked if this was what I wanted...of course I said yes.
She turns to the cashier and asked, "do you do lay away"? Tiz mine all mine in a few weeks.
It's nothing fancy, but I'm sure it'll do the job on 20yrd or less birds . :z-guntootsmiley:

If you need to do layaway on a $90 gun you don't need to be worrying about hevi shot - lead will do ya just fine.

I think you'll be surprised. Run some hevi 13 6s and 7s and you may get 35-40. Run some TSS handloads and you can make 60!
I've made it close to 40 with h13s in stock full 20s and to 60 with TSS handloads.
The H&Rs are pretty spotty on the POI matching the bead, so you may need to bend the bbl a bit or have a base installed for a reflex.
