Talked with one of the ladies who's on the design team at Mossy Oak and they are in the process of designing a logo Mr Fox cap to match the Fox Vest for those who are interested... Just sharing some information with everyone ...
I think they are only going to be $300 factory direct, $2750 Ebay. JK
Whatever... that's not the intention of sharing this information ....

Being able to properly accessorize is priceless though...

It goes way beyond accessorizing... some people will never get it .... :fud:....... I like hats myself ...
That's awesome...may have to pick one up when they get released.
It's all good Greg. Everybody has their thing.
Thx for sharing.....
Given the success they had with the vest, Mossy Oak would be crazy if they DIDN'T come out with a cap. I wouldn't be surprised to see other clothing or accessories in the future.
You want a matching numbered cap to go with your vest? Get ready to pony up more $ than you ever thought you'd spend on a cap.
Caps from what i understand will not be numbered ... Just caps with the logo ...
I'll have one if they aren't crazy money. I figure hats would be unlimited and priced reasonably. In case anybody missed it in my first post, JK=Just Kidding
I wonder how much profit margin they will look to get out of a hat. And it will be interesting to see how they limit supply and what that does to the secondary market. Your average high end hat goes for around $20 now, so if they ask considerably more they will have to add in charitable/habitat slant to cushion the blow. But remember most folks who got the vest will really want the hat, so demand will be somewhat inelastic. Sorry too much Econ 101?
I'd wager that most of the folks who bought the vest would not bat an eye at paying $40 or $50 for the hat.
Hopefully the price will be lower than that.
I would even say I'm sure a cheaper version of the vest is coming. Because after all they are in this to make money. Bubba
Gray thank you for sharing that information with us.
And what you know just got a message for a Fox Vest extended addition. Bubba

Gray thank you for sharing that information with us.
Thanks, but i'm pretty much done sharing information... I will just do it privately with a PM to some of my friends ...
Just let me know when to go stand in line 3 days to get my cap, lol
Sharing this information is good and appreciated. But you can't expect everyone to think the same on this matter. This whole Fox release hits people differently. Some are drawn in immediately and love the aura of it and want to be a part of its deeper meaning. Others see it as corporate marketing to achieve the bottom line, profit. Others feel left out, unable to obtain highly sought after items that command way more than they're able to pay. They're all valid opinions.
Why not just move along if you don't like?
There's always a few sour grapes. Unfortunately this whole situation has brought out a lot of them.
Thanks for the info Greg.

If their panties weren't bunched up due to the vest they probably couldn't afford anyway then they'd be bunched for a different reason. I've been a Mossy Oak fan ever since they were a company but I've had no interest in a Dixon or Fox vest. For everyone who does, that's great and I hope you end up with one. Hats are more my thing and I've spent more money on some than what I feel they're worth but I wanted it and I bought it. I'll likely do the same with a Mr. Fox hat unless they're priced out of what I feel they're worth. Too many people worry too much about what others are doing with their dime on their time. :boon:
Thanks everyone, like i said in my original. I was sharing this information for those who were INTERESTED in the future of getting a matching Fox Hat... If you're not interested move on or start your own post ...
Honestly, I like the idea of the hat. I wasn't spending $450 on a vest but I'll buy the hat as soon as it's available. I'm a big fan of Mossy Oak and while it is an enterprise to make money, I genuinely think the Haas family are good people. And I wouldn't mind having something that points to the legacy of Mr. Fox.

if you wear the fox hat with the fox vest and the fox t-shirt under your bottomland hunting shirt and use the fox pot call you are guaranteed to kill a gobbler every time you get in the woods.
