The rest of the week was good but unproductive. They started logging in a good spot and I had to move a little. I did call in a decent Jake with a 6 inch beard but I practiced QTM.
Not much gobbling in the ground, after fly down it was trying to hear spitting if he was close. Saw several lone hens and I'm thinking they are slightly ahead.
I'm moving to Texas in August so I'm going to hunt Maryland hard. I've got several nice birds there and I'll keep a turkey membership in the club.
