That's what I had last nite for dinner...fresh home grown tomato but instead of bacon I had some thick sliced home cured hog jowl on mine.
For you young pups out there jowl is meat from a hogs cheek cured like bacon...'cept it's a whole lot better!!!

Funny thing is :  I Played for Mississippi State,  and my wife is a serious bulldog fan,  but my daughter ( the who brought in the cup) is in Ole Miss phar. school.

my wife buys season tickets, to state,  I would hardly walk across to see any of them.   :you_rock:

Looks good but no salt for me now. Grew up on BLT with home grown tomatoes and pork.

After seeing this thread the other day I had to fry up some bacon for a BLT of my own yesterday, it didn't last on the plate long enough for a pic though!! :TooFunny: :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
