Title: Remington Ammo on the way back
Post by: bbcoach on March 02, 2023, 04:38:49 PM
Looks as if Remington Ammo is on its way back.  Their ammo plant in Arkansas has been bought by Vista and now employees 1500 people.  Here is a Youtube video that helps explain things.  Read the comments below the video for more.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkJ-zadJVNw

I hope to see more of Remington's offerings on our department and sporting goods shelves ASAP.

Been seeing more of it in stock and online, that's a good thing! I see they are making tss
turkey ammo too, curious to see how they will pattern compared to the other brands.

Rogers Sporting Goods has it.  I've ask about how it's patterning but seems no one has given it a try.  It is cheaper than most TSS.

I think Blue Collar on youtube patterned it?

Only Remington ammo I was ever really a fan of was the original hevi shot, man what an improvement at the time! I still have a round of it somewhere.

That said the more options the better, hope they do well and keep things rolling.

I have a box of their TSS I haven't tried yet,and have seen the video. They didnt seem in favor of it's patterning, and tho I'm no expert, I didn't feel it got a fair shake, to me they had TSS overly constricted choke wise and it was blowing the pattern at 40 yards.

My brother patterned some out of his Mossberg 935. Said he loved it.

:icon_thumright: good to hear! I see they teamed up with Henry to make another straight wall cartridge
called the 360 buckhammer. Sounds like it will be a great deer round in lever actions and legal in states
that have a length restriction.
