Oh Yeah...
26" Barrel
Plan on shooting the Hevi-13 3-2-7.
Going to polish the barrel.
I know that this horse has been beaten but any replies would be appreciated!
Got 223 in a 10 inch with my .660 and 3.5 H13 #6's. Rem 870 26 inch barrell
I voted .665 cause it's what I have and throws a great pattern. I would get whichever one is easiest for you to come by. You can't go wrong with either one in my opinion.
I SHOOT A 870 WITH A 26 INCH BARREL 660 RHINO CHOKE HEVI 13 3 1/2 IN 2 1/4 OZ #7'S AND GET AROUND 300 IN A 10 INCH CIRCLE AT 40 YARDS

I can get around 300 shot in a 10" circle at 40yds with a MAD Super Max .675 choke and the 3" 2oz #7 Hevi-13 loads out of my 870 28" polished barrel I did myself. And that is tape measured from tip of choke to taget. :z-guntootsmiley:
Well I guess I should prove it.
But that Super Max is a hard choke to beat. It's the best choke I have found period.

I voted 665 cause I havent shot the 660.
I bought a whole lot of Mag Blends last year and when I got a new toy (remington 870 SPS) for christmas, I decided to give the more open choke a try and went with the 665.
I shot it against a PG and IC and they were all very comparable but I was very pleased with the JH 665 with the Mag Blends.
