Looks like the breeding season has started in Florida
Nice, I can't wait! Gonna be heading south on Thursday evening from where I am with my daughter for her last FL youth season. We'll be scouting Fri on some new ground to us. Fortunately for her she drew a permit for possibly one of the best areas in the state. I'm a little jealous I can't get one but looking forward to the time with her camping, chasing gobbles and kicking off the season. Supposed to be 91 on Sat though... dang that's hot for February!
Oh yeah and I have a buddy up here with a place not too far from Daytona that had a gobbler breeding a hen on his cell cam last week as well. I have bumped hens off the nest on opening weekend up here plenty of times, which is still almost a month away here. I'd be happy if all the hens get bred between now and then .
Oh yea!
Live Action ...
even us northern guys are seeing some positive signs! Mild winter
The ShaZizzle is goin down!
It's also on in Mississippi.
A few days in the mid 70's and mid 80's forecast for Thursday have a few jacked up here in Eastern North Carolina. Would like to see these dominant Toms get some action before a week long youth season disrupts their efforts.
Great to see things are happening

I watched an Osceola breed a hen in a field here in North Central Florida this past weekend. This was near Gainesville.
