Seasons are about to open. Still time to get a kid ready. If you don't have one, you might try n find one. Fantastic memories for both of you and who knows, someday when you can't do it yourself that kid might take you. Pass it on guys not to just who we know directly.

Absolutely. I've been taking a couple kids youth season for last 6 seasons. Been there for the girl's first gobbler and the boy's first and second whitetails. I have a blast!

Great gesture Mike, kudos...
Absolutely Bowguy!
Couldn't imagine not doing this, between the Learn to Hunts and Youth Hunts I have been doing and more, this will mark 20 years of those programs!
I have always shared my hunts from the start, and I thank my Dad for instilling those values in me.

Ain't nothing like taking a youngin hunting for the first time or a first time hunter for that matter. So much fun!!!
Have a good one and May God bless, Bo

Kids hunt for the right reasons. I saw four youths kill deer this year, three of which were their first deer ever. Turkey is even better.
Excited to get to take my daughter out for the first time this year. Trying to get her to wake up at zero dark thirty is going to be the real challenge!

Was wondering when you'd chime in. We can instill all those great values into the kids we take and hopefully someday they look forward to taking a kid. Hope all is well brother.
I took my son out for the youth hunt last year. We camped out the night before, grilled burgers, played checkers and battleship. We didn't get a turkey but it was my favorite hunt of the season. We did get to hear a good bit of gobbling and he got to see some hens. I thought it was a great success for hunting public land.
