Planted a field on my property to feed and attract wildlife - dove, deer, turkey, bear. I have 2 cameras out and enjoy watching them. My dad has been out to hunt as well as great nephew. I don't deer hunt and the property is small and will likely never hold spring turkey, but I have been seeing a flock of 10 (all hens) and just enjoy seeing them. My property adjoins 1000s of acres of hunt club (once a large WMA, now all private).
So my brother wanted a deer and he sat for a few days.
This is just a cool sequence to actually catch on camera, thought some folks might enjoy. I will post the pics from my phone in the reply.

Actual time of impact just before he takes off. Did not run but a few yards. My nephew (his son) callled this the Zapruder film. Lol. He was just a 5 point. But he was out of meat so he is happy now.

I've been trying to get that shot on the game cams for years, without luck. Came close a few times. Cool impact shot!!

Good shots.
I caught a bow shot on video a couple years back of a late season 8 point that I killed. Made a cool video with the lighted nock hitting the buck
